The School provides oral health services to patients, exclusively in the context of education of undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Auxiliary services provided by the Department of Biomaterials include: characterisation of biomaterials, biomaterials-composite interfaces with emphasis on non-destructive testing techniques, testing for compatibility with international specifications, investigation of failures in recovered materials, solving diagnostic problems, development and improvement of materials, and providing expertise and retraining of researchers in the instrumentation of the laboratory.

The Department of Oral Pathology provides histopathological, immunohistochemical, molecular, immunological and other analyses.
